Thank you to all those who helped us honor military children by sharing photos and stories as part of our 3rd annual Month of the Military Child Photo Contest!

With over 260 entries, the top three were determined by the number of votes they received for their entry. 

The First Place winner with 8,373 votes is Christa Parker for her photo titled, “Unbreakable bond.” Christa’s 300 wreaths will be sent to The Bridgeport Cemetery in Bridgeport, West Virginia to be placed on December 15, 2018, on National Wreaths Across America Day!

The Second Place winner with 7,584 votes is Lori Strother for her photo titled, “Sometimes you just need to hug your dad.”  Lori’s 200 wreaths will be sent to Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY where her husband, Sgt. Eric Strother is laid to rest.

The Third Place winner with 5,239 votes is Reba Smith for her photo titled, “Deployment, holding on.”  Reba’s 100 wreaths will support the mission at Haven of Rest Cemetery in Red House, West Virginia!
